PICS: Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar glam up a birthday bash

Anushka Sharma is seen here at the birthday bash of journalist  Jitesh Pillaai. The lovely actress, who has been excited about her soon to  be released movie Jab Harry Met Sejal, looked pretty in a flowery dress. Alia on the other hand, looked cute as a button in her white dress teamed with denim jackets. Alia is seen here posing with her mentor and father figure Karan Johar.

Alia and Karan just returned from New York City, where they attended the IIFA 2017 award ceremony.  Alia was the big winner at the award ceremony and won the Best Actress award for her performance in the critically acclaimed movie Udta Punjab. She is currently busy with her Ayan Mukerji movie Dragon and her Zoya Akhtar movie Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh. Alia has also zeroed in another project by Meghna Gulzar named Raazi. Alia will feature opposite Vicky Kaushal in the movie.

Anushka Sharma on the other hand will be seen in the Shah Rukh Khan movie Jab Harry Met Sejal on August 4th. The movie by Imtiaz Ali is much awaited. The team has released many mini trailers, which have garnered a good review. 

During the film's trailer launch, also attended by actress Anushka Sharma and virtually joined by Shah Rukh from Los Angeles, Imtiaz told the media here on Friday: "We are happy with the U/A certificate and no, there was no deletion of any words from the CBFC." He added: "There were some visual changes, but there were no audio cuts. And we are happy with it."
