Team Mubarakan get patriotic in the capital city as they celebrate Sadbhawna Diwas

Team Mubarakan including Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, and Ileana D'Cruz celebrated Sadbhawna Diwas in New Delhi today. The team was in the capital city, to promote their movie Mubarakan. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan is slated for release on July 28.

Arjun is playing a double role in the much awaited film. Speaking about it Arjun said, "It's definitely not easy. It is difficult. But, it's a challenge you look forward to as an actor. That's what excites you, makes you nervous and work harder because you are not just playing, but two and specially with comedy... With Mubarakan being a comedy there is a definite new situation for me."

"I have never done an out-an-out entertainer. Of course, there is a certain amount of nerves that come into prepare... but then you have a good director like Anees Bazmee, who is the king of comedy and king of double roles... You know he will walk you though it. That challenge was very exciting because I had Anees sir," Arjun added. 

At the event, Anil Kapoor was in full spirits as he sang Mera Rang De Basanti. The senior Kapoor got all emotional as he sang the patriotic number amidst an excited crowd. The team paid a tribute to Bhagat Singh as part of the event.

On a more cheerful note, Anil shook a leg to My Name is Lakhan, much to the excitement of the crowd while Arjun, Ileana and Athiya danced to the Hawa Hawa number.
