Bollywood’s funny man Govinda made a rare appearance at the airport today evening. The actor was clicked at the airport where he was surrounded with his ardent fans.

The Hero No. 1 star sported a cool look over the weekend. The actor was snapped in a semi-formal look. He opted for a half-sleeve white shirt which he teamed up with pink chinos.

It looks like Govinda still has a humongous fan following as the actor was enveloped by his ardent fans the moment he was spotted at the airport.

Govinda recently made news on the leaked pictures of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos. In a recent interview, director Anurag Basu clarified that he isn't a part. Basu said, "I've shot a couple of days with him in the first schedule. Then there were changes in the story and other things. But Govinda isn't in the film, his part isn't there. It was very kind of him to agree when I requested him for the guest appearance. But it's our loss that he isn't there."

We got in touch with Govinda to ask about his take on the leaked pictures which went viral. Replying to our query, he said, "I am thankful that Anurag Basu at least opened his mouth after three years and finally, he gave the clarification about the role. I am happy that at least he spoke about it after three years."

When we had interviewed Govinda two years back, he had told us, "Well I am not doing Jagga Jasoos because I am doing ABHINAY CHAKRA, my home production film, wherein I play a lead hero. So I cannot do a father's role. If I was doing those roles then it was fine, but if I am not doing then why are you offering me that kind of a film?"

Later, in another interview, the actor had said, "I've finished my work but I won't be a part of the promotions. I'm upset with the makers for not clarifying things on my behalf. I can understand them not wanting to get dragged into a silly controversy but not reacting was not a solution. Nobody is allowed to make money by defaming me. I may forgive but I'll never forget."
