We know that Priyanka Chopra has been holidaying in the lovely locales of Maldives along with mom Madhu Chopra and brother Sidharth Chopra. The Chopra trio have been sharing pictures and videos via their Instagram handles and we have been having a great time checking them out.
Alas, it seems the fun has ended for PC as she seems to be homebound. Priyanka is clicked here with an excited fan, who shared the pic on social media. Priyanka looks pretty in a printed, red dress and seems refreshed after that exotic vacation.
On the work front, Priyanka has been working on her Hollywood projects, A Kid Like Jake and Isn't it Romantic? The actress recently mentioned that she chose these movies just because she wanted to be a part of it. She asked her fans not to go for it expecting a Priyanka Chopra movie.
Priyanka also was in the news recently when the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced that it is to honour the actress at its annual soiree on September 6. Priyanka will be in conversation with festival artistic director Cameron Bailey where she will talk about her career as a Bollywood icon before segueing into Hollywood.
Toronto is also honouring Priyanka for her activism. She also devotes time to Unicef as a goodwill ambassador.
Proceeds from the gala will help fund talent development programmes at the Canadian festival to get more women behind and in front of the camera.
