Abhishek Bachchan, who was in New York on a vacation with his lovely wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, returned to Mumbai a week back owing to his work commitments. The actor is gearing up for the upcoming season of Pro Kabaddi League and is seen promoting the same on his social media.
Today, Bachchan Junior took off to Chennai early in the morning. The actor was papped at the Mumbai airport as he arrived for his flight. Looking dapper in blue jeans, a white shirt and a light blue Chinese collar jacket, Abhishek Bachchan strutted through the airport while conversing with the team escorting him. His brown shoes and black sunglasses added to his charm!
The actor took to Instagram and also posted few stories. Going by the Insta story, it seems Abhishek Bachchan is going to Chennai for a meeting with respect to his football team Chennaiyin FC. The Football league starts from October.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan is currently gearing up for his next movie Paltan. The film will be directed by J.P. Dutta and it was announced when the iconic movie Border clocked 20 years in the industry. Abhishek, who had attended the party, took to Twitter the next day and announced his association with the film. He had said, "Brother to my left, brother to my right. Together we stand. Together we fight! I'm part of the PALTAN, are you? #jpdutta #JaiHind."
Interestingly, in an interview with a daily, when JP Dutta was asked about working with Abhishek, he had said, "We casually chatted about the project [at the reunion bash] and he immediately agreed to be part of it. He is a wonderful actor, who always aims to do something different. From Yuva (2004) to Guru (2007) and Dostana (2008), he has done a fine job and can pull off any role. I am really happy to have him in my team."
