PICS: Neil Nitin Mukesh and wife Rukmini clicked by the paps

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay tied the knot earlier this year, in February. Their wedding was a grand affair with the who's who of Bollywood attending it. Neil followed in the footsteps of Shahid Kapoor, as he went the arranged marriage way with Rukmini, who hails from a non-filmy background.

Well, since then, the couple have been enjoying marital bliss. After a long hiatus from the public eye, they were spotted today by the paps, at the airport. Both the husband and wife were dressed casually in denims and posed for the shutterbugs.

On the work front, Neil has been working on Indu Sarkar, co-written, co-produced and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The film stars Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Supriya Vinod and is set to release on July 28th.

Indu Sarkar, set against the backdrop of the 1975-77 Emergency, has characters inspired by the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her late son Sanjay Gandhi.  The controversial storyline has irked some political figures. Therefore, Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam had penned a letter to Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Pahlaj Nihalani, asking for the movie to be screened for them before it is censored.

The CBFC later suggested 12 cuts and two disclaimers in the film. Bhandarkar had been asked to remove words like RSS and Akali from the movie.
