Twinkle Khanna shares a throwback picture with dad Rajesh Khanna on his death anniversary
On father Rajesh Khanna's fifth death anniversary, daughter Twinkle Khanna shared a picture on Instagram.
On father Rajesh Khanna's fifth death anniversary, daughter Twinkle Khanna took to Instagram to share a picture from an old album. In the picture, she is seen planting a kiss on his cheeks but had no caption to it as she needs no words to express her love for her father.
Rajesh Khanna died of cancer on July 18, 2012. Rajesh Khanna married actress Dimple Kapadia in 1973. They have two daughters from the marriage - Twinkle and Rinke Khanna. Rajesh Khanna was born in Amritsar, Punjab on December 29.
He debuted in Bollywood in 1966 with Aakhri Khat. In a career spanning for over more than four decades, Mr Khanna featured in more than 160 films. He is the star of films such as Aradhana, Anand, Kati Patang and Safar.
Twinkle shares her birthday with father. Last year on their birthday, Twinkle posted a picture with Mr Khanna and captioned it as, "I see you-in my reflection off the back of a gleaming spoon, in a gesture my sister makes, in the arch of my son's eyebrows- I still see you.. #happybirthdaytous."
Twinkle, who became India’s highest-selling female writer of 2015 with her book Mrs Funnybones, says her actor father Rajesh Khanna always wanted her to write. “Dad always said I should be a writer -- was proud of my maggot filled poetry -- would’ve been beaming that I got that paper in my hand eventually,” Twinkle earlier posted on Twitter.
On the work front, she ventured into production with Pad Man starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
