Inside Pics: Bollywood stars have a blast prepping up for IIFA 2017 in NYC

Our Bollywood stars are in NYC, all set to ring in the IIFA 2017 Awards ceremony. The host of the show Karan Johar, shared a picture of himself sporting huge, yellow sunglasses with the caption, "Sun block! #newyorkselfie #iifa2017."

Karan Johar, whose directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the front runner in the nomination pack of the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, will host the gala night. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has a chance to win in eight categories, followed by M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, which has been nominated across seven categories.

The IIFA Weekend and Awards, to be held July 13-15, will be a celebration of Indian film, music, fashion and dance.  Saif will join Karan to host the IIFA Awards show. The actor, who was present for an IIFA 2017 press conference sometime back had said: "Film industry is incomplete without Karan Johar."

When mediapersons asked the reason behind making such a statement, Saif quipped: "'Baahubali...' Can you imagine our film industry without that? He is one of those arteries in the blood flow of the film industry."

Karan, who was sitting next to him, thanked Saif for saying that. 

Looking back at his journey as a host, Karan said: "I realised I started hosting shows from 2000, which was a Filmfare award. It's been 17 years! I am glad that every year I have managed to get the job! The experience is always good, as I enjoy whenever I am on stage."
