Bollywood stars are having a blast at New York City. They are gearing up for IIFA 2017.
Bollywood stars have arrived at New York City, to catch all the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA 2017) action. Seen here are Huma Qureshi and Taapsee Pannu, beaming with the IIFA madness. Also seen are Bipasha Basu and husband Karan Singh Grover, who were all smiles for the paps.
The main awards event will see performances by Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Kriti Sanon among others. The show will be hosted by the dynamic dup Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan. Varun will also join the hosts for a segment of the show.
Also seen is Manish Paul, who will be hosting the IIFA Rocks show, which is to take place a day before the main event. Music maestro AR Rahman will be honored at the grand show.
Set to be held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York July 14-15, the two-day IIFA festival - produced and created by Wizcraft International Entertainment - will see a congregation of film celebrities.
Nominees for Best Actor in Leading Role (Male) are Shahid Kapoor for Udta Punjab, Ranbir Kapoor for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shah Rukh Khan for Fan, Sushant Singh Rajput for M.S. Dhoni..., Amitabh Bachchan for Pink and Salman Khan for Sultan.
Among the women, the contenders are Anushka Sharma for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Alia Bhatt for Dear Zindagi and Udta Punjab, Sonam Kapoor for Neerja and Taapsee Pannu for Pink.
