Kapoor and Sons was in news for the fact that it would portray the life of a homosexual onscreen which was played by Fawad Khan.
The film also headlines because rumoured couple Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt were on board for the film. Today, we came across a behind-the-scenes picture of Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan shooting for the film.
The two are seen sitting in an auto and both look a little bewildered. In an earlier interview, Fawad talked about working with Alia, he had said, "When I saw her on the first day on the sets, she was so confident and spontaneous, which I was not expecting at all. She didn't even rehearse."
Khan went on to add, "I've seen Highway. She has given a tremendous performance in the film. As an actor, I think her work speaks for herself. She is a phenomenal performer. To excel at such a young age so fast and be able to stand toe to toe with experienced actors, is quite an achievement."
Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt also garnered attention when the former refused to kiss the latter. Alia, in an interview, said, "There was a kiss in the film with Fawad. When we did the scene, it was decided that we would cheat-kiss. Still, every time I would go near his face, he would flinch. I had to keep reassuring him I wouldn’t compromise his chastity."
