PICS: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Preity Zinta leave for NYC to attend IIFA 2017

Alia Bhatt is clicked here  at the Mumbai airport as she heads towards New york City to ring in the IIFA 2017 awards ceremony. She is joined by her Badrinath Varun Dhawan, who looked dapper in a white tee teamed with blue denims and a blue jacket. 

Varun, who is very popular with the fans, obliged for selfies with them. Check out the Judwaa 2 star posing for pictures with the fans collected there. The actor has been busy with the shoot of his movie, which is being directed by his dad David Dhawan.

Recently, we saw Salman Khan pose with the Judwaa 2 team. The superstar, who featured in the original, 1997 Judwaa, will be doing a cameo appearance in the sequel. Pinkvilla reported that both Salman and Varun have shot for a honeymoon sequence where both the sets of twins come face to face.

Alia on the other hand, will next be seen in Gully Boy and Ayan Mukerji's Dragon.

Both Alia and Varun are nominated for their films Udta Punjab and Dishoom respectively. They will also be performing at the awards ceremony. Varun will also host a segment of the ceremony along with Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar.

The IIFA Rocks event will take place before the main awards ceremony and will honor music maestro AR Rahman.
