Shahid Kapoor and Misha Kapoor arrive in NYC for IIFA 2017.
We saw Shahid Kapoor leave for New York City with wife Mira Kapoor and daughter Misha yesterday. The Kapoors were clicked at the Mumbai airport by the paps. Well, after a long journey, Shahid and his girls have reached NYC and they don't seem to be a bit exhausted.
Check out Shahid Kapoor, all smiles, as she carries baby Misha around. The little princess of Shahid and Mira herself looks quite refreshed and amused with all the happenings. Isn't that adorable?
Shahid, who is expected to perform at the awards ceremony, is also nominated for the Best Actor award for his movie Udta Punjab. Other nominess are Ranbir Kapoor for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shah Rukh Khan for Fan, Sushant Singh Rajput for M.S. Dhoni..., Amitabh Bachchan for Pink and Salman Khan for Sultan.
Among the women, the contenders are Anushka Sharma for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Alia Bhatt for Dear Zindagi and Udta Punjab, Sonam Kapoor for Neerja and Taapsee Pannu for Pink.
The 2017 IIFA festival will play host to some of the most celebrated stars and musicians of the Indian film industry.
The IIFA Weekend and Awards will be held July 13-15, and will be a celebration of Indian film, music, fashion and dance. Stars such as Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon among others are set to rock the stage at the Metlife Stadium. There is also an IIFA Rocks 2017 show, which is a celebration of 25 years of Oscar winning talent A.R. Rahman has been organised. It will also feature a medley of musicians including Rahman, Diljit Dosanjh, Benny Dayal, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi and Haricharan Seshadri.
Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul will host IIFA Rocks, to be held a day before the main awards event.
