PICS: Saif Ali Khan gears for IIFA 2017 with a trip to the Consulate
Saif Ali Khan headed to the consulate to get his US VISA in order to attend the IIFA 2017 Awards night.
The 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is all set to commence soon at New York City and our stars could not be more excited. After Katrina Kaif headed to the US Consulate in Mumbai for her VISA, it was Saif Ali Khan who rushed there today.
The Consulate shared a picture of the nawab saying, "#SaifAliKhan is excited about his upcoming trip to #NYC for @IIFA and is already planning his #TasteOfAmerica meals!."Isn't that cute?
The IIFA Weekend and Awards, to be held July 13-15, will be a celebration of Indian film, music, fashion and dance. The star-studded awards night will have the likes of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon shake a leg on the stage at the Metlife Stadium.
There is also IIFA Rocks 2017, which will have a celebration of 25 years of Oscar winning talent A.R. Rahman. It will also feature a medley of musicians including Rahman, Diljit Dosanjh, Benny Dayal, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi and Haricharan Seshadri. Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul will host IIFA Rocks while the main awards night will be hosted by Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan.
This is the second time that the IIFA extravaganza is taking place in the US. It was earlier held in Tampa Bay in 2014.
