PICS: Karan Johar catches up with his new student Ishaan Khatter

Karan Johar launched a nutrition book based on a balanced diet for kids along with Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Kapoor in Mumbai. There were a host of celebs and socialites present at the event.

Amongst the old faces, Bollywood’s to-be-debutante Ishaan Khatter also marked his attendance at the venue. Karan Johar and Ishaan were also spotted making a quick conversation and also posing for the paparazzi.

Karan Johar, like always, went for his classic all-black look with a pair of cool sneakers. Ishaan, on the other hand, went for a casual summer look with a full sleeve tee-shirt, black chinos and white sneakers. He upped his style game with a cool military colour snap back.

Karan and Ishaan looked comfortable with each other while making a conversation. We really wonder did Karan Johar share some tips to the young chap. Ishaan's debut film is Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds and he has also started filming it although his mainstream debut will be a Karan Johar movie. Apart from taking care of Ishaan, Karan Johar has apparently made Jhanvi Kapoor sign a 3-film deal under his production house.    

There have been many speculations made about Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's Bollywood debut. It is finalised that she will foray into films under Karan Johar's home banner Dharma Productions.

First, it was stated that she will be starring in Sairat's Hindi remake, then the reports came out of Jhanvi pairing opposite Tiger Shroff in Student of the Year 2. Now, as per a leading tabloid, Karan Johar will be following the footsteps of his mentor Aditya Chopra. Like Adi, Karan is likely to sign a three-film deal with the new actors he is working with. The first among them is none other than Jhanvi. Thus, we will see Jhanvi working with Karan for three films over the years.
