Photos: Salman Khan and Sohail Khan promote Tubelight

Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Tubelight which will see him reunite with filmmaker Kabir Khan for the third time since Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie also stars Sohail Khan who plays Salman's brother. 

The brothers were spotted by the shutterbugs today at a film studio as they were promoting Tubelight. They even posed for the paparazzi. 

While Salman kept it casual cool in a white tee, brown pants and brown shoes, Sohail looked formal in a blue shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

In an interview with a leading daily recently, Kabir revealed that Sohail was not the first choice to play Salman's brother in Tubelight. He said, "Instead of a real brother, I thought we should get another actor and create the chemistry on screen.” 

Kabir further revealed that Akshay Kumar was one of the actors being considered for Sohail's role. "That was while we were developing the script, and before we could decide, I was convinced by Sohail. Maybe, with another actor, I would have had to spend time and create the chemistry that Salman and Sohail share," he added.

However, now Kabir is very happy that he cast Sohail as the brother in the movie. Kabir stated, "We put Sohail through a lot of hard work, like making him sprint across the mountains of Ladakh — anybody else in his place would have said, ‘I’m out of this place’, but Sohail kept going even with his oxygen pump in hand. Sohail’s is a dignified character in the film. People will love him, I am sure."

Tubelight is slated to release on June 23, 2017, and also stars Om Puri, Zhu Zhu and Matin Rey Tangu.
