#20yearsofborder: Athiya Shetty joins dad Suniel Shetty and team Border on their big day

Athiya Shetty looked lovely in blue as she attended a re-union of her dad Suniel Shetty's 1997 movie Border's re-union. Border was based on the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, produced and directed by J. P. Dutta. The film starred an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. It was the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year.

Today, the team came forward to celebrate their success, after very many years. Seen here are Pooja Bhatt, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Anu Malik, and JP Dutta among others.

Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to share a favorite scene from the movie saying, "On the eve of #20yearsofborder my favourite scene from the film.Thank you J.P.Dutta." Suneil also took to Twitter to write,"Lines  from #Border that have stayed fresh in the mind! #20YearsOfBorder."

Meanwhile, Veteran filmmaker JP Dutta recently unveiled the first look of his next war drama titled Paltan. He is excited to bring another chapter of Indian history alive through the film. "It's time to tell a new story, to tell another part of history of our country and salute more real life heroes! I present 'PALTAN'. A film and a subject very close to my heart and I'm extremely excited about it," Dutta, who last directed the 2006 film Umrao Jaan, said in a statement.

Produced by JP Films and directed by Dutta, the film will go on the floors later this year, and is scheduled for a summer 2018 release.
