Jab Shah Rukh Khan met Imtiaz Ali for late night dinner in the city

Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s movie called Jab Harry Met Sejal for the first time and the two have come a long way.

The actor-director bond has now turned into a full-fledged friendship. The same chemistry and the bond were visible when they turned up at a popular eatery for late night dinner in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh Khan looked cool in his half-sleeve dark blue chequered shirt and his loose denim. Imtiaz, also carried his simple yet stylish look like a pro.

The duo was seen outside the eatery when they got clicked by the paps and they both obliged to pose for the shutterbugs.

The Imtiaz Ali film's title had been the topic of discussion for a long time now. Earlier, rumored to be titled The Ring and Renuma, people were pleasantly surprised when they saw the final title.

Jab Harry Met Sejal, the title seems to be an amalgamation of a Hollywood film titled When Harry Met Sally and Imtiaz's previous movie Jab We Met. Many wondered if the movie is yet another adaptation of Indian version of the Hollywood movie.

However, Shah Rukh Khan in an interview to a leading daily clarified that neither of the films is related to JHMS. When asked about the similarity in the name, SRK said, “Ranbir had suggested When Harry Met Sejal. And I think Karan (Johar) said, ‘make it, Jab Harry Met Sejal’ because maybe it’s Imtiaz’s own film. But honestly, neither of those films are related to this one. Ours is a beautiful, comic and slice-of-life kind of a journey film. People perceive that [connection as] we mixed the names of two films but it’s nothing like that. Maybe, Ranbir’s thought (about the title) came from When Harry Met Sally as everyone knows about that film.”

This is the third time Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma will be seen sharing screen space after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Jab Harry Met Sally will release on August 4, 2017.
