India overpowered arch-rivals Pakistan by 124 runs in a rain-marred Group B encounter of the Champions Trophy in Birmingham on Sunday. Our favorite Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rejoiced over this big win, much like every else in the country. Junior Bachchan took to his social networking handle to share a lovely picture with his wife saying, "Yessssss! C'mon India!!!#jaihind." Isn't that sweet?
Aishwarya was in the news recently for her stunning red carpet looks at Cannes 2017 international film festival. The actress was accompanied by daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Vrinda Rai. Abhishek, who was not physically with his family, was cheering for them all along. He shared lovely pictures of his wife and daughter on social media complimenting them on their stunning looks.
On the work front, news has it that Aishwarya has zeroed in on a few projects. During a recent interview Aishwarya had revealed that both her and Abhishek Bachchan had been approached for Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun and that the modalities are being worked out.
However, news now has it that Aishwarya has signed her next with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Fanney Khan. The movie was in the news last year when Anil Kapoor had shared his first look from the movie. However, there have been no official confirmations on this front.
Aishwarya was last seen in the Karan Johar movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which featured Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead. The movie fared well at the box office.
