Photos: Shraddha Kapoor looks fierce in and as Haseena

Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in Half Girlfriend is prepping up for the release of her upcoming movie Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai.

The movie is based on the life of dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar and the team shot for the last schedule of the film in Pune, yesterday. 

In the stills from the sets, Shraddha looks fierce. Dressed in a black Indian wear, Shraddha seems to be shooting a courtroom sequence. 

A source attached to the film said, “Shraddha spent Tuesday canning her portions, which include a court sequence at Deccan College and a theatre in the vicinity that were cordoned off for the shoot. The college has been converted into a court for the shoot. When Shraddha was informed that the shoot is happening in Pune, she was excited to travel by road as she has fond memories of the city. As a child, she would often travel to the city by road to visit her late maternal grandparents who lived there.” 

Earlier, the first poster of the movie was released. Shraddha had shared the poster and it was surely an intriguing one. Her look was raw and gripping. The new stills have surely got us all more excited. What about you?

Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai also stars Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim. The movie is being presented by Swiss Entertainment and has been produced by Nahid Khan.

The movie is slated to release on July 14, 2017, and will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos.
