Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor bleed blue at an award ceremony

The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award ceremony was held in Mumbai where the nominees were handed their respectable awards. Actors Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor were also spotted at the venue.

Anupam Kher was seen posing with the “Jhakkas” actor and the two bonded really well while posing for the shutterbugs. Of course, their friendship goes a long way in the industry.

Anupam Kher looked suave in his blue formal suit which he teamed it up with grey trousers. He also collected his award in the respectable category he won.

Anupam Kher recently spoke about one of his most successful films Saraansh and said that his 1984 classic film has trended in his life every day. Saaransh, which tells the story about a retired school teacher and his wife, who come to terms with life after the death of their only son, completed 33 years on Thursday. 

Anupam thanked the film's director Mahesh Bhatt and tweeted that his life since Saaransh has come a long way. 

If we talk about Anil Kapoor, the bindass dude of Bollywood was in a cheerful mood at the venue. He looked smart in his formal blue suit. Anil Kapoor’s Mr India recently completed 30 years. The film stars Anil Kapoor in the titular role, Sridevi and Amrish Puri as the famous villain Mogambo. Speaking on the occasion, Producer Boney Kapoor said, “I'm so happy and proud that people remember Mr India fondly even today. With 'Mr India', we were never dependent on the stardom of the actors, just on the magic of the film.”
