Lara Dutta is one doting mother to her five-year-old daughter Saira Bhupathi. The former Miss Universe's Instagram page is filled with pictures of her loving daughter.
Today, Lara, daughter Saira and husband Mahesh Bhupathi had an interesting Sunday. Saira was part of a dance event by ace choreographer Shiamak Davar in the city. The little munchkin looked cute dressed in a penguin costume and entertained the audience with her performance.
Lara and Mahesh like perfect parents clicked and shot the videos of the dance performance. Lara looked pretty in an off-white coloured midi dress with multicoloured chain. The adorable family trio posed for the shutterbugs present there.
On the work front, Lara is set to be back with her second film as a producer under her banner Bheegi Basanti Entertainment. The film will be helmed by National Award winning director Sushil Rajpal and will again star Vinay.
Talking about the premise of the film, the story revolves around an NRI single mother's emotional journey through the heartland of India in search of the anonymous donor who fathered her son.
Lara confirmed the news stating, "We at Bheegi Basanti Entertainment have been on the lookout for another story that had the same humour and emotional connect that Chalo Dilli had and have finally found that with a script that National Award winning director Sushil Rajpal has brought us. It is liberating and refreshing to pursue great stories and bring them alive on celluloid through challenging and lovable characters and most importantly to make people laugh and cry at the same time."
When asked about Vinay, Lara said, "Vinay is a fabulous actor and co-star and I find it invigorating and thoroughly enjoyable to share the screen with him."
This will be the first outing of Lara and Sushil, whereas Vinay has worked with him before. The film is set to go on floors next month.
