Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's mother Vrinda Rai celebrated her birthday two days back and wishes from all the fans of the actress were pouring in on social media. However, this year, the celebrations couldn't have been grand as Aishwarya's father Krishnaraj Rai passed away few months back after prolonged illness.
But Aishwarya and her brother Aditya made sure that Vrinda Rai's birthday is made special in some way despite of the big loss. They invited the close family members for a small gettogether and had a very intimate affair.
A nice cake was ordered and Vrinda in presence of all her close family members including two grand children - Aaradhya Bachchan and Vihaan Rai, the lovely lady celebrated her birthday. We got our hands on two photos from the intimate celebration and they made us smile.
While Aishwarya is standing behind Vrinda and Aaradhya is nicely hugging her nani, Aditya Rai is posing with wife and one kid, whereas his son is also seen smiling for the camera along with this doting dadi. What made us completely go aww is a photo of Krishnaraj Rai that is kept near the cakes on the table!

Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan created waves through the web when she strutted on the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet as a Disney Princess in a Michael Cinco gown. If that wasn't all then a photo of Aishwarya posing with Aaradhya, who looked no less than an angel in a pink gown, went viral and we couldn't stop drooling over the two amazing ladies. Big B too shared the photo on his social with the caption that read, "Bahurani with hamari rani."
