PHOTOS: Varun Dhawan accompanies mom Karuna at the airport, Sonaksi waves to the paps

Varun Dhawan is clicked here at the Mumbai airport along with his mom Karuna Dhawan. The dutiful son that he is, Varun got protective when the paps began flooding their way, and led his mom by her hand. Isn't that cute?

Varun recently wrapped the London schedule of his movie Judwaa 2. The movie is being helmed by Varun's dad David Dhawan, and features Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Varun, who appears in a double role. It is a sequel to Salman Khan's 1997 movie Judwaa and is currently scheduled for release on 29 September.

Varun started his career as an assistant director to Karan Johar in My Name Is Khan. He made his acting debut with 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year and ever since he has featured in films like Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, Dilwale, Dishoomn and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. 

Jacqueline, who was also clicked at the airport, had spoken about the movie saying, "We are hoping to recreate the magic (of 'Judwaa') in 'Judwaa 2'. We are gonna try and do as much justice to the 1997 Judwaa as possible. Its 20 years down the line but we have the same director, it will be exciting."

Anu Malik will recreate the two super hit tracks from the older movie - Oochi hai building and Tan tana tan on which Varun will be seen dancing.

Jacqueline was last seen in The Flying Jatt opposite Tiger Shroff.
