Sachin: A Billion Dreams: Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali pose with Shah Rukh Khan at the premiere

Shah Rukh Khan is seen here at the premiere of Sachin Tendulkar's movie Sachin: A Billion Dreams. The  movie is based on the life of Sachin Tendulkar and it is scheduled to release on May 26. 

The movie, a biographical drama, captures Tendulkar's personal journey from a young boy to a cricketing icon. It is written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions.

The movie has already been declared tax-free in Kerala, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

Shah Rukh Khan has always been an ardent fan of Tendulkar. When the trailer of the movie was released, SRK took to Twitter to write, "@sachin_rt I believed,when u did well I would 2 & when u didn’t,I will fail. Like  a billion others I miss my guiding lite. ATB for the film."

Tendulkar had replied to the heartwarming message saying, ""Zindagi me haar na hoti to koi kabhi jeet ta nahi aur kuch seekhta bhi nahi. Touched by your words like a billion others, love u @iamsrk."

The premiere saw many other bigwigs of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan among others.

The Ambani family also attended the grand event.
