PICS: Brad Pitt promotes his film War Machine in Mumbai

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt landed in Mumbai today, for a surprise visit to promote his film War Machine. The movie is his co-production, which will stream on the US-based on-demand streaming website from Friday.

Brad Pitt's visit happened in a hush-hush fashion to avoid unwanted paparazzi and the shutterbugs. His team invited select media to the event, which was attended by Brad and War Machine director David Michôd, along with Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, Pitt's partners.

Pitt spent his afternoon posing for a photo shoot pool side at a five-star hotel here, before he made his way to get ready for the event.

This is his second visit to the country. Pitt was on a working trip to India for A Mighty Heart back in 2006 with his then girlfriend and actress-filmmaker Angelina Jolie, who later on went on to become his wife. Now, he is back with a newly acquired single status after his split from Jolie. 

The couple went public with their split back in December 2016, and Pitt has confessed that it was a troubling time for the whole family, including children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. 

Brad spoke about the movie and his career, at the presscon. Speaking about War Machine, he said, "Running down the streets with those pair of shorts was humbling."
