Cannes 2017: This time international media mistakes Sonam Kapoor for Deepika Padukone
This time, international media mistook Sonam Kapoor for Deepika Padukone at the Cannes 2017 film festival.
We know that Deepika Padukone was upset recently when international media mistook her for Priyanka Chopra at the Met Gala fashion event held recently. Deepika also went to the extent of tagging this as racism. At the Cannes 2017 press event, when Deepika was asked about the same incident, she said, "Absolutely. It's not just me being offended. Everyone should be offended. It is not just ignorance, it is racist. Two people of the same colour aren't the same. You should educate them and not encourage them."
Well, this time it was Sonam who experienced this at the Cannes 2017 film festival. While posting a picture of the B-town fashionista, a popular American stock photo agency wrote, "Indian actress Deepika Padukone arrives for the film The Meyerowitz Stories in competition at the 70th Annual International Film Festival in Cannes, France on May 21, 2017."
Well, what do you think of that?
Sonam, in the meanwhile, has been having a blast at the Cannes film festival this year. Sonam's looks so far include creations from Elie Saab, Anamika Khanna, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and House of Masaba. The B-town fasionista had mentioned that she is not nervous as she is seldom criticized for her looks. Well, she was right there as Sonam has received a thumbs up for her fashion choices this season, like always.
What do you think of this confusion between Sonam and Deepika?
