Cannes 2017: Sonam Kapoor looks stunning as she walks the red carpet on her Day 2

Sonam Kapoor is seen here walking the Cannes 2017 international film festival red carpet on her Day 2. Sonam, who sported a lovely Elie Saab creation yesterday, chose the same designer for her second walk of the season today. She looks lovely in a golden Elie Saab gown and seems to be rocking the walk.

Sonam's sister and stylist Rhea Kapoor described her gown as a "custom @eliesaabworld haute couture and 42 carats of @chopard diamonds." Now, isn't that something?

Sonam had spoken about her Cannes looks saying, "I'm looking forward to the trip. These three days are going to be hectic — it's literally like living out of a suitcase. Even when I return to the bay, I won't have time to rest. I have to head right back to the studios. I'm shooting for Raju Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic and R Balki's film. There's a deadline to be met and I can't take a break now. (At Cannes) I will take it easy! I have no plans this time. And honestly, there's no time for anything other than the red-carpet appearances and watching a couple of films, all dressed up. My gowns have already reached the venue. I just have to get there, slip into them and look great. It's one of those events where the idea is to not take yourself seriously."

For media interviews earlier in the day, Sonam sported some stunning creations from Anamika Khanna, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and House of Masaba. Sonam had mentioned before that she wishes to include elements of Indian designers at the festival and she sure is keeping her word.
