Cannes 2017: Sonam Kapoor walks the red carpet at the international film festival

Sonam Kapoor is seen here walking the red carpet on her Day 1 at the Cannes 2017 international film festival. The B-town fashionista looks gorgeous in her Elie Saab, pink number and is rocking it as always. She teamed her look with Kalyan Jewellery.

Sonam will also walk the red carpet tomorrow, at Cannes. She has been representing the international, cosmetic brand for many years now. Sonam mentioned that she is looking forward to the whole Cannes experience. She was preceeded by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, who did their bit to bring glory to Bollywood.

Sonam has always been appreciation for her fashion choices and that is why the pretty actress mentioned that she was not nervous. Sonam also promised that she will make it a point to include an element of an Indian designer in every look of hers.

Sonam had recently wished her colleague Deepika Padukone on her Cannes debut. She said, "I hope she has fun. I don't think someone who has attended so many international fashion events needs any advice from me."

Sonam was recently in the news when her movie Neerja won a National Award. Sonam also got a special mention at the awards ceremony. She will soon start working in her home production, Veere Di Wedding, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan.
