Mumbai airport is one place that keeps buzzing with celebrities every day as they fly in and out of the city. Today was no different. Paparazzi spotted Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor at the Mumbai airport earlier in the day.
After creating a frenzy with her appearances on the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet, Deepika Padukone is back in the city. The actress arrived in the wee hours of the day, much to the delight of the photographers.
Looking gorgeous in black jeans, white ganji and a frilly shrug, Deepika Padukone was all smiles for the cameras. Open hair, a black bag, black boots and reflective sunglasses rounded off her look.
Shahid Kapoor made a dapper entry at the airport in blue ripped jeans, a grey t-shirt and black sneakers with a black cross-over bag, grey headband and black sunglasses. The actor was taking off solo to Delhi. His doting wife Mira Rajput and darling daughter Misha Kapoor are already in Delhi and it seems the actor is going to receive them.
Both Shahid and Deepika are currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which also stars Ranveer Singh in the lead. The movie is currently being shot in Mumbai and is scheduled for a release on November 17, 2017. Padmavati was in the news recently owing to the controversies it was involved in. First, the film's sets in Jaipur were destructed and director Bhansali was manhandled by the activists of Karni Sena. Later, the movie's sets and the costumes were burnt in Kolhapur, leading to huge losses for the movie.
