It's an annual ritual for Akshay Kumar to attend the graduation day ceremony of the self-defense academy for women in Mumbai. The actor makes it a point to grace the occasion despite his shoot commitments. He takes time out and is present to encourage the women on a topic that he considers of utmost importance.
Accompanying Akshay this time for the same was actress Parineeti Chopra. Both Akshay and Parineeti shared their self-defense stories and happily posed with the women for photographs.
While Parineeti looked chic in blue jeans and a white t-shirt that she wore with white sneakers and black round sunglasses, Akshay Kumar was at his sporty best in blue jeans, white t-shirt and white shoes. Akki, like always, arrived in style on a bike along with his bodyguard. Also present at the event was Shiv Sena's, Aaditya Thackeray.
Akshay and Parineeti interacted with the students and also clicked a lot of pictures with them. When they were exiting the venue, like a true gentleman, Akshay Kumar escorted Parineeti outside. One look at the pictures and you will realize how protective the actor was about Chopra.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for the release of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. The movie releases on August 11, 2017. He is also shooting for Padman that is being helmed by R. Balki. The movie will see him opposite Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Parineeti Chopra, on the other hand, was last seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu and is now shooting for Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu in the lead roles.
