Sachin Tendulkar took his wife Anjali Tendulkar along to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss his documentary biopic Sachin: A Million Dreams.

Sachin Tendulkar is all set to play a new inning as his documentary biopic Sachin: A Million Dreams is all set to hit the theatres very soon.

Sachin has already got a tremendous response for the biopic after the release of its trailer.

Now, Sachin Tendulkar was in the national capital and hence he and his wife Anjali Tendulkar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss his documentary biopic Sachin: A Million Dreams.

Sachin looked simple in his formals and his wife Anjali Tendulkar looked pretty in a pink suit.

Speaking to a leading daily, the former Indian cricketer told a leading daily, “I was in Delhi so, I thought it would be nice to brief him about the movie. I told him what the movie is about and he was quite happy and gave me a positive feedback.”

He further revealed, “He (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) told me that the film will not only inspire the next generation but through my highs and lows it will tell everyone that challenges are everywhere but that does not mean you surrender... you overcome those challenges and he said it applies to everyone in life.”

Sachin: A Billion Dreams is an Indian biographical film based on the life of Indian cricket icon and living legend Sachin Tendulkar. It is a tale of a restless 10-year-old boy and his journey from watching India's first World Cup-winning skipper Kapil Dev lifting the trophy, to the fulfilment of his dream.

Directed by James Erskine, the biographical film will release on May 26.
