Cannes 2017: Shruti Haasan pulls off a stunning look at the film festival
Shruti Haasan looks ethereal in her white outfit on Day 2 of Cannes 2017.
It is not only Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who are hogging all the limelight at the Cannes 2017. Shruti Haasan is also present at the prestigious film festival for her film Sangamithra.
The light-eyed actress sported a lovely black gown for the Cannes red carpet on Day 1 and looked lovely as ever.
Shruti shared the pictures on her social networking handle saying, “Walk the walk #cannes70 #sangamithra.”
On Day 2, Shruti Haasan pulled off stunning white attire on Day 2 of the film festival. While interacting with the foreign media, Shruti looked pretty in a white Ampm dress and layered it with a beautiful printed Kashmiri style wrap-on.
We also loved how she finished her look with Mahesh Nottandas’ gorgeous earrings.
A Hindi, Tamil and Telugu trilingual, Sangamithra stars Shruti Haasan in the title role, while Jayam Ravi and Arya are the chief male protagonists. The film is directed by Sundar C, produced by Thenandal Studios and has Rahman as its music director.
Talking about their film being unveiled at Cannes 2107, Producer Narayanan Ramasamy, Chairman and Managing Director, Thenandal Studios, said, “This is a very prestigious project for us. The Cannes unveil with Rahman sir, Sabu sir, Sundar sir and the entire lead cast is just the beginning of the many milestones that Sangamithra is going to achieve with time -for Tamil and Indian cinema.”
The team is expected to return from Cannes and resume the pre-production preparations for the film, which is expected to go on floors in August.
