Reema Lagoo's sad demise shocked everyone and many celebrities paid their respects to the veteran actor.
The funeral is being held now and actor Aamir Khan with his wife Kiran Rao and ex-wife Reena Dutta were snapped outside Reema ji's residence.
While talking to the media present there, Aamir, who was in a state of shock and sadness shared his fond memories with Reema Ji. He stated, "We all are in shock. We don't think she was going through any difficulties. It all happened suddenly and it's truly sad. My first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was with Reema Ji. She was an amazing actress and had a clean heart. When we were working on the water protection project, she participated more than the youngsters. May her soul rest in peace!"
Aamir has worked with Reema Ji in movies namely Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Rangeela.
Reema Lagoo, best remembered for her roles in films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hai amongst many others, passed away after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.
Reema became a household name by playing the roles of a mother in serials like Shrimaan Shrimati, Tu Tu Main Main which were followed by some superhit films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, Vaastav and many others.
Reema Lagoo's son-in-law Vinay Waikul said, "She was complaining of chest pain so we took her to the hospital around 1 AM. She passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 AM. She was perfectly fine and had no health issues...so it is really shocking for all of us that she is no more with us."
