Cannes 2017: Deepika Padukone poses with Julianne Moore, Susan Sarandon and Elle Fanning

Deepika Padukone chose a lovely, jewel-toned maroon creation by Marchesa for the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival 2017. Deepika, who looked lovely in this number, teamed her look with Jimmy Choo heels and De Grisogono jewellery.

Deepika, who is making her Cannes 2017 debut at the red carpet for an international cosmetic brand, posed with other ambassadors and Hollywood biggies Julianne Moore, Susan Sarandon and Elle Fanning. The Padmavati actress looks breathtakingly beautiful in her gorgeous number and we can't wait to see her rock the Cannes red carpet in this look.

Deepika will also be walking the red carpet at Cannes 2017 tomorrow. This is Day 1 and Deepika has already stunned us with three beautiful looks. She was spotted in two different looks earlier in the day, for the media interviews and both the looks got her a thumbs up from the fashion police. 

Deepika had mentioned that she and her team have been planning her Cannes looks for some time now. Well, we think they are right on track, don't you agree?

Earlier, it was rumoured that Deepika will be presenting her movie Ram-Leela during a screening ceremony where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will present her 2002 movie Devdas. However, it was later revealed that Deepika has no such plans.
