In Pics: Parineeti Chopra chills with her team before her shoot

Parineeti is fresh from the release of her new film Meri Pyaari Bindu which also starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles.

The romantic drama was released on May 12 and is doing a fair business at the box-office. Amitabh Bachchan’s Sarkar 3 also got released on the same time and is giving a tough competition to Meri Pyaari Bindu.

Parineeti and Ayushmann did extensive promotions of their film throughout the country and the duo has a lot of time on their hands since the movie is out.

Though Ayushmann is nowhere to be seen after the release, Pinkvilla captured Parineeti Chopra in the city.

The 28-year-old actress was clicked while getting ready for a shoot. The Ishaqzaade actress can be seen waiting with her hair all clipped on.

The actress can also be spotted interacting with her team in these behind-the-scenes photos.

Parineeti also looks cute when she was captured making different faces while waiting for the shoot.

On the work front, Meri Pyaari Bindu is directed by debutant director Akshay Roy and is produced by Maneesh Sharma.

In the movie, while Pari plays the role of an aspiring singer, Ayushmann is a writer. With the movie, Parineeti has made her singing debut.

When she was asked about the experience of singing, she said to a daily, “Honestly, it was nerve-wracking. I am always singing. I have even sung on stage before but singing on the mic is on another level. Now, I understand why playback singers are geniuses because, for that, you require talent. Thankfully, I think I performed okay for the first song. Everyone – including Sachin-Jigar (music composers), Maneesh Sharma (producer), Akshay (Roy), Kausar (Munir) and, most importantly, my parents – were happy. They haven’t seen the song yet, so it’s a surprise for them. I am excited as it has been a lifelong dream but I never thought I would be a playback singer. I always wanted to sing my own song so I am happy.”
