Alia Bhatt is young and she always loves to dress up for big occasions. The young Bollywood star was invited as a guest of honour at a book launch event held earlier today in Mumbai.

The actress looked cute in a rose print top that she paired with white frayed hem denims and matching red sandals.

We also loved how she kept her hair simple. The deep red lip added finishing touches to her look.

Meanwhile, Alia had a fun Mother's Day celebration yesterday. She was part of an initiative where she released a 30-year-old tortoise into the river. She also spent some quality time with the Bhatt clan.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt had a great start to her year with Badrinath Ki Dulhania opposite Varun Dhawan, which also by the way crossed the 100-crore mark this year.

After the success of the movie, Alia event went on a vacation with her bestie.

Alia will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon which will also have Ranbir Kapoor in a lead role. The duo has already started prepping up for their respective roles as they were spotted at a studio in Mumbai.

The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role.

Alia will then also be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boys which will see the actress paired opposite Ranveer Singh for the first time. The movie chronicles around street rappers and Ranveer has already started prepping for the movie.

On the personal front, Alia and her rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra were spotted partying hard with their close pals. Also seen in the video is Imran Khan along with Shakun Batra.
