Cannes 2017: Deepika Padukone’s diet takes a backseat as she indulges in a chocolate pastry

Deepika Padukone has landed at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival and is all set to make her debut at the 70^th edition.

Deepika is super excited for her debut at the Cannes International Film Festival and it seems she is celebrating her first attendance by indulging in some delicious chocolate pastry.

Yes, the 31-year-old actress posted a picture on her Instagram account where she clicked a yummy chocolate pastry and captioned it as, “diet #Cannes2017.”

The Bollywood superstar, who has over 17 million followers on her official Instagram account, has scored close to 3 lakhs like on the picture.

The actress, who is super excited about her big debut, mentioned recently, “I cannot believe this is happening. It is every girl's dream. I think I am looking forward to all of it. Have been to Cannes before. There's something about the place. There is a lot of positivity there. Watching some exciting films.”

The Bajirao Mastani star also posted a quick video on her official Snapchat account where she captures the road in the night from a car and captioned it as, “and it begins, Cannes2017.”

Deepika was also clicked here at the Mumbai airport, heading for the film festival. She looked gorgeous in a black and brown dress and smiled for the paps.

Deepika, who will be making her debut for a cosmetic brand that she is representing, will walk the red carpet on 17th and 18th of May. 

Deepika spoke about it saying, “We have started planning. There is too much focus on clothes. It should be fun. As a woman, we enjoy being ready and all of that. Clothes are exciting but there is more to it. It is something that my team is working on.”
