In Pics: Kangana Ranaut goes old school for Simran's promotions

Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran's teaser released yesterday and the Queen seems to be back to entertain in her quirky way. 

Kangana was today snapped having brunch with her Simran team. For the brunch, the actor sported a checkered skirt which she paired with a printed white T-shirt tucked in. She left her hair open and wore a pair of black leather shoes with it. Her appearance looked very old school, however, Kangana pulled it off with ease. 

Coming to Simran's teaser, the movie looks promising with Kangana seems to be having a blast. It will surely be a treat for Kangana fans who are waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite star on the big screen after Rangoon.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie which features Kangana Ranaut, is set to release this September. In the film, Kangana plays the role of a Gujarati NRI, Praful Patel - a housekeeper, who gets embroiled in a crime. 

The writer of the movie Apurva, while speaking about Kangana's character had said, "When I moved abroad at 21 to study, I dressed funny and spoke in an odd accent. I was a misfit but wanted to fit in. Praful (Kangana's character) comes from that space. She likes to gamble with life. That comes from my brother, Ricky, who assisted me on the script. He can play Poker for hours, clean the table with a straight face. Praful is a divorcee, yet doesn't let a patriarchal society hold her back. That comes from my sister Malvika. Then, there's graph Kangana has found to make Praful her own. She is a mix of so many interesting people from our worlds."
