Shraddha Kapoor looks elegant in her military outfit

Shraddha Kapoor can be spotted everywhere these days and the reason is, of course, her new romantic drama film Half Girlfriend is all set to hit the theatres next week.

After promoting her film in the national capital, the 30-year-old actress is back in Mumbai and was spotted at a brand event in the city.

The Aashiqui star looked super stylish in her military colour outfit.  The actress carried her summer dress like a pro.

On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor are leaving no stone unturned to make their new film Half Girlfriend reach to the masses.

The duo has been promoting their movie rigorously and with an intention to promote their new romantic drama film, Arjun and Shraddha landed in the national capital.

Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of a novel by the same name which was authored by Chetan Bhagat. 

While Arjun Kapoor plays the role of a Bihari boy, Shraddha will be seen as Riya Somani, a rich Delhi brat in the film.

The film is scheduled to release on May 19.

The team shot for the film in the picturesque locales of Delhi, Patna, Dumraon, Varanasi, New York City, and Cape Town.

The makers of the film had re-launched the book with Arjun and Shraddha on its cover. While addressing the media, film's director Mohit Suri made some interesting revelations.

Suri revealed that Half Girlfriend is the first film to be shot in the United Nations and that too free of cost.

While talking about the book, Arjun had earlier said, “I have never read a Chetan Bhagat book in my life. But yes, I have worked on two films adapted from his novels. I think I never faced any problem on that because none of my directors suggested me to read them and those scripts were pretty substantial for me to understand the character.”
