Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna meet real-life PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham on the sets of the film.
Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for PadMan. The movie is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural areas. This film marks Twinkle Khanna debut as a producer.
Today, Twinkle shared a very interesting picture on her Twitter page where Akshay and Twinkle are seen posing with Arunachalam and his family and the director of the film R. Balki holding a clapper
She captioned the picture by tweeting, "On the set today with the real and reel life Padman and our brilliant director Balki #Padman #MrsFunnybonesMovies"

PadMan also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles. Sonam will be seen playing the role of a tabla player in the film. She has been learning for the same since the time she started shooting for the flick.
During an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA, when Sonam was asked about working with Balki, she stated, "I have been a fan of R. Balki since the beginning and I was itching to work with him not realizing, when I do work with him, I will just fall in love with the kind of human being he is and the kind of work he wants to do. He is truly an artist and thinks differently. He wants to say something which each of his films. We have a great rapport. I keep teasing him that he will miss me so much after the shoot is wrapped up but honestly, it is me who will miss him."
