Photos: Kangana Ranaut looks ravishing at a wedding reception

Kangana Ranaut is clicked here at a wedding reception in Mumbai. The Queen of Bollywood looked lovely in a traditional saree. She was in a cheerful mood as she waved and smiled for the paps before heading in.

Kangana attended the wedding reception of her Rajjo director Vishwas Patil's daughter. Rajjo was a 2013 film directed by Sahitya Akademi Award winning writer Vishwas Patil. It featured Kangana Ranaut and Paras Arora in the lead roles. Unfortunately, the movie did not fare well at the box office, during the time.

Talking of her more recent projects, Kangana just wrapped the shoot of her movie Simran. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 15 September. In the film, Kangana plays the role of a Gujarati NRI, Praful Patel - a housekeeper, who gets embroiled in a crime. The film will apparently have six songs but they are all background tracks, which are in accordance to the plot.

Kangana will also be seen in the movie Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi. The movie is being directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi aka Krish and is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the screenplay for the epic movies Baahubali and Baahubali 2.

Kangana had mentioned recently that this will be her last movie as an actor and that she is all set to take up direction. When probed if she has zeroed in on a movie for direction, Kangana replied yes and said that it is going to be a comedy. Interesting?
