Kings XI Punjab team makes Preity Zinta proud after beating Virat Kohli’s RCB

Preity Zinta must have had a very good evening today after her team Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) beat Virat Kohli’s Royal Challenger’s Bangalore (RCB) by 19 runs. 

KXIP’s talented bowler Sandeep Sharma collapsed the main batsmen of RCB which includes Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and A.B. de Villiers and helped his team win against RCB by 19 runs. 

Then, Axar Patel, Mohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell strangled RCB to leave them gasping. 

Axar took on Watson and 19 runs were scored in 20 th over. That lent the total more than a shade of respectability, and, in the end, it proved match-winning. 

An ecstatic Preity took to Twitter to express her happiness. She posted an “all-smiling” pic with stars of the day Sandeep Sharma and Axar Patel. 

She tweeted, “What an amazing performance by @lionsdenkxip tonight Unbelievable intent & execution by @akshar2026 & @sandeep25a So  proud #KXIPvsRCB.” 

The Bollywood actress also posted another picture with her entire KXIP team in the bus after the match. 

The picture that also features Virender Sehwag was captioned as, “This is what a happy team bus looks like #KXIPvsRCB #Ipl #Happiness#LivePunjabiPlayPunjabi Ting.” 

Kings XI Punjab currently stands on the fifth position in the IPL points table after scoring 10 points from 10 matches. 

Talking about her love for cricket, she told a leading daily most recently that she left Bollywood for Kings XI Punjab. 

““This is my first venture that I believed in and I wanted to do. I left my movies for this. It’s like my baby and so I would love to win the tournament with KXIP.”
