Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor show their skills at Half Girlfriend’s promotional event

If film-makers want their movie to make good money at the domestic box-office, they need to promote it as much as possible and it appears the makers of Half-Girlfriend are following the same route.

The lead actors of the film Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are leaving no stone unturned to promote their new romantic drama film Half Girlfriend.

In their latest promotional event in Mumbai, the makers organised a music concert where the lead actress Shraddha showed-off her singing skills on stage and performed a few numbers from her new film.

Arjun Kapoor was also spotted on stage and interacted with the audience on a regular basis.

The film’s director Mohit Suri was also spotted at the event along with his actress wife Udita Goswami.

The trailer of Half Girlfriend got thumbs up from the audience and the songs like Baarish, Tu Hi Hai, Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga and Mere Dil Mai have secured their place on top of the charts.

The film is based on the novel written by Chetan Bhagat of the same name.

Half Girlfriend is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 19.

After the release of Half Girlfriend, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Haseena, a biopic on the sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrabhim and then in another biopic of Indian Badminton player Saina Nehwal.

If we talk about Arjun Kapoor, no official announcement has been made on his next project.

Arjun Kapoor’s last movie was with Kareena Kapoor Khan called Ki and Ka, which did an average business at the domestic box-office.
