Alia Bhatt offers condolences at Vinod Khanna’s prayer meet

A lot of Bollywood biggies were spotted at Vinod Khanna’s prayer meet today in Mumbai including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar among others.

The young Bollywood star Alia Bhatt was also clicked at the prayer meet of late Vinod Khanna.

The Udta Punjab offered her condolences to the late actor at the meet.

The late actor was suffering from bladder cancer and was also hospitalized for more than a month before finally succumbing to his illness.

Vinod Khanna’s elder soon Rahul Khanna also bid his last goodbye in an emotional Instagram post.

He shared a picture of his father holding the newly-born Rahul in his arms. He captioned the lovely picture as, “You showed me how to be a gentleman and yet fight to the finish like a warrior. Bye Dad.1946 - 2017.”

Rahul had also shared another throwback pic a few days ago where he as a toddler can be seen sharing beautiful moments with young Akshaye Khanna and father Vinod Khanna.

Vinod Khanna’s funeral took place at a crematorium in Worli, Mumbai, in the evening which was attended by a number of his contemporaries, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Ranjit among others.

The late actor had been a part of some amazing movies like Amar Akbar Anthony, Qurbani, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Muqaddar Ka Sikander, Hera Pheri and Parvarish.

On the work front, Alia has a great line-up of movies in the coming year which includes Dragon, Gully Boys and Aashiqui 3.
