Akshay Kumar gets snapped at Transform Maharashtra event.
Actor Akshay Kumar has often voiced his support in the development of the nation. Today, the actor attended an event in the city to celebrate Maharashtra Day. Akshay Kumar joined dignitaries like Ratan Tata and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the inaugural ceremony of an exhibition titled Transform Maharashtra.
At the event, almost 12,500 students across the state of Maharashtra participated and pledged their support in the development of the state.
Dressed in black trousers, black t-shirt and printed canvas shoes, Akshay Kumar looked dapper as he walked into the venue. The actor was all smiles for the paparazzi and happily posed for them. He even obliged few fans with selfies before joining the CM on the stage for a discussion.
Akshay shared about the same on his Instagram page with a caption that read, "Glad to be a part of #TransformMaharashtra with Mr. Ratan Tata,an initiative by our hon. CM @devendra_fadnavis to involve the youth in building a better state and eventually country."
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Padman with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. He would be wrapping up the film in this week and then will gear up for the release of his next movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar and is slated to release on August 11, 2017. Akshay's movie will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's untitled next, which is helmed by Imtiaz Ali. Akki also has 2 Point 0 with Thalaiva Rajinikanth. The movie will be hitting the theatres on January 25, 2018 along with Sidharth Malhotra's Aiyaary. Khiladi Kumar also has Gold, Crack and Mogul in his kitty!
