Photos: Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra get papped in the city

Bollywood's Jai and Veeru were out and about today as they were clicked in the city. While Big B was spotted interacting with fans, Dharmendra was accompanied by friends, as he was papped by the shutterbugs.

Both Amitabh and Dharmendra recently mourned the loss of their dear friend Vinod Khanna. Dharmendra said, "Vinod was a very close friend. We worked in several films together, The first one was Mera Gaon Mera Desh in which Vinod played a villain. He was a man full of life. There is nothing which can replace his absence in my life. He will always be missed."

The veteran actor suffered a minor health scare in December and was admitted at the Nanvati Hospital after he reportedly complained of uneasiness and pain. However, he recovered well and the news was conveyed by his wife Hema Malini. "Just to reassure everyone concerned abt Dharamji in hospital - he is recovering well & is likely to be discharged soon. Thank u all," the dream girl of Bollywood had tweeted.

Big B took to his blog to pen an emotional post about his late friend. He had written, "That guilt-ridden incident when I had to fling a glass in a scene towards him (Vinod Khanna) and it accidentally hitting his chin, cutting him open right through to his teeth .. the remorse regret and guilt within me to date for that unforgiving accident .. rushing him to his doctor, late at night, getting stitched up, driving with him to his house to settle him in and to just keep apologising for this horrific accidental slip."

On the work front, Amitabh will next be seen in Sarkar 3 helmed by Ram Gopal Verma. It is is a political-crime thriller is set in Mumbai and stars Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. 

This RGV directorial is set to release on May 12.
