Baahubali 2 Dubai premiere: Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and team clicked

The much awaited movie of the year Baahubali 2 is all set to release this weekend and the team could not be more excited. Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, and S.S. Rajamouli are seen here at the Dubai premier. They met up with the media and spoke about their blockbuster.

Rana had earlier spoken about the movie saying, "I think Baahubali has proved it that when you're making a film for the entire nation, it is bigger than any film made in one language. You could be a filmmaker sitting in Madurai and if you have a great superhero film to make, you have the faith and confidence to make your film because there's a country of audience to watch it." Rana plays a fictional character Bhallaladeva, who locks horns over an ancient kingdom with his brother Amarendra Baahubali, played by Prabhas.

Baahubali: The Beginning had a phenomenal run at the box office. It ended up as one of the biggest grossers of Indian cinema.

The movie also stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.

"I feel Rajamouli has given me a whole arc of a woman's life... from being a young girl to a woman, a mother... it's beautiful," said the leading lady Anushka. Asked about why Katappa killed Baahubali, Anushka said it would be unfair to let out the answer to the million-dollar question before the movie releases on Friday.

"It would be unfair only to let out the why... the way the story has been scripted, the screenplay and how it's been shot has such lovely moments. The emotions and all are so much deeper. Even those of us who have worked on it are looking forward to watch the magic on screen." she said.
