EXCLUSIVE: Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali may team up once again for a relationship-driven movie
A little birdie told us that Ranbir Kapoor and Imitaz Ali are all set to team up again for a special project.
Ranbir Kapoor and the very talented Imtiaz Ali have worked on two movies together - Rockstar and Tamasha. Though both the movies received appreciation from the critics and a section of the audience, they were not huge, commercial hits. However, it seems that Ranbir is undeterred and wants to give another go with Imtiaz.
That's right, a source close the actor revealed to us that Ranbir wants to team up with Imtiaz Ali yet again as he believes in the filmmaker's talent. Apparently, Ranbir feels that it is Imtiaz who brings out the best in him. The source mentioned, "Though Tamasha flopped, Ranbir still believes Imtiaz brings out the best in him. He is up for another collaboration with Imtiaz. They are in talks for an edgy, relationship-driven movie. Ranbir is very excited about this venture. He hopes the two of them can pull it through this time."
We know that Imtiaz is also equally smitten with Ranbir. The director had once mentioned, "Just because Ranbir is from a film family, it does not mean that he did not have a template to relate to, or cater to. In fact, it is the other way round. Because he is from a film family, he has had many succesful directors and actors before him, in the same family, who have been in a certain way. So he is expected to be like that. He, more than anyone else, has had to break a certain template. One thing I feel that, in the Kapoor Khandaan, there is a certain wisdom that is beyond obvious. Ranbir too has it in his bones. He does not look like a very intelligent person otherwise, but then he has it in his blood."

Imtiaz is currently busy with his Shah Rukh Khan - Anushka Sharma film. The team has shot in picturesque locations of Europe for the movie. More recently, they shot in Punjab and Mumbai.
