Photos: Varun Dhawan's birthday celebrations on the sets of Judwaa 2

Varun Dhawan rang in his 30th birthday amidst much fanfare. The young actor of Bollywood is currently shooting for his dad David Dhawan's fun flick Judwaa 2, and it is on the sets of this shoot that he rang in his special day. Check out the pics of Varun cutting his birthday cake with his dad and team members. Isn't that adorable?

Varun started his career as an assistant director to Karan Johar in My Name Is Khan. He made his acting debut with the 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year and ever since he has featured in films like Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, Dilwale, Dishoom and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. 

Friends from B-town took to their social networking handles to wish the birthday boy. Mentor Karan Johar shared, "Happy birthday Varun Dhawan. Big love to you and bless you always! Have a super year."

Judwaa 2 features Varun in a double role as estranged twins opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. It is currently scheduled for release on 29 September. Jacqueline had recently said about the movie, "We are hoping to recreate the magic of Judwaa in Judwaa 2. We are gonna try and do as much justice to the 1997 Judwaa as possible. Its 20 years down the line but we have the same director, it will be exciting."

Anu Malik will recreate the super hit track from the older movie - Oochi hai building, to which Varun and Tapsee were seen rehearsing recently.
