Sonam Kapoor is clicked here shopping with mom Sunita at Bandra. The Bollywood fashionista looked lovely in a black shirt and pants, and rocked the casual, weekend look. Sonam, who was her usual, chirpy self, smiled for the shutterbugs and waved to the paps.
On the work front, Sonam will soon start working on sis Rhea Kapoor's production venture Veere Di Wedding. The movie is touted as Kareena Kapoor Khan's return to work after her maternity break. It will also feature Sonam's BFF Swara Bhaskar.
Other than this, Sonam will also be seen in Akshay Kumar's Padman and Ranbir Kapoor's Sanjay Dutt biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Sonam was recently in the news when her movie Neerja won a National award. The popular actress also got a special mention for her spectacular performance, at the awards ceremony. Neerja is based on air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who displayed the utmost courage to deal with armed terrorists and sacrificed her life to save others.
Neerja gave up her life two days before she would have turned 23, to save a large group of American children during a hijack of a Pan-Am flight by terrorists at the Karachi International Airport in Pakistan on September 5, 1986. An inspirational tale, the film was appreciated for its performances by Sonam Kapoor and Shabana Azmi, who played her mother on screen.
